Coseytown Kay was hybridized by Leanne of Coseytown Dahlias. This cultivar is the most fascinating, as it’s blooms increase in pink saturation as the season goes on. When I saw my first bloom, I was concerned that it wasn’t actually Coseytown Kay because it was nearly white, but a couple weeks later she was that familiar Coseytown Kay Pink. She is stunning in a pastel palette and for wedding work!

An “ugly” tuber is one that may be on the smaller side, might have been nicked by the pitchfork at the time of digging and has some cosmetic imperfections, or might have a small amount of wrinkling, but is still a viable tuber and expected to grow and thrive in your garden!
